Q: How can I sign up for the service?
A: While onboard your cruise you will receive a registration form in your stateroom. You can fill it out and turn it into the staff at the guest services desk.
Q: I am flying to an international destination; can I still participate in the program?
A: No, unfortunately all segments of your travel must stay within the United States (Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, and US Samoa included). The only exception to this is guests flying on Air Canada can have a final destination in Canada.
Q: Is there a fee for this service?
A: Yes, please check with your cruise line to get the current rates as they can vary per ship and port.
Q: Do I still have to retrieve my luggage in the customs hall when getting off the ship?
A: No, your luggage will be taken directly from your stateroom to your final destination. You will disembark the ship according to the individual ship procedures and you are free of your luggage until you arrive at your final destination airport. The only exception to this is in San Juan, Puerto Rico where you will have to reclaim your luggage in the customs hall, then drop it with an airline representative in the cruise terminal.
Q: The airline charged me fees for my luggage on my inbound flight; do I have to pay that fee again?
A: Yes, you are still responsible for all applicable airline fees. These fees will be placed on your ship board account.
Q: Will I receive my boarding passes while onboard the ship?
A: Yes, you will receive your boarding passes and preliminary airline luggage tags to place on your baggage while on the ship. These documents will be delivered to your stateroom the last night of your cruise.
Q: Once I get to the airport what do I need to do?
A: Since you are already checked-in for your flight you can proceed directly to the security check point. There is no need to wait in the lines at the ticket counter
Q: I applied for the onboard airline check-in and was denied, is my flight still okay?
A: You are still confirmed on your flight and everything with your reservation is fine. Unfortunately, in very limited occasions guests are asked to proceed to the airport for check-in.
Q: Does this fee include transportation to the airport?
A: No, the service fee is for your luggage and boarding passes. You can purchase an airport transfer onboard the ship or there are taxis waiting outside the terminal.
Q: If my luggage does not arrive at my final destination who do I contact?
A: In the rare occasion your luggage gets mishandled you can file a claim with your air carrier in their baggage service office. They will be able to track your luggage and get it back to you as quick as possible.
Q: I don't have any checked luggage is there still a charge for the service?
A: Yes, if you would like to receive your boarding pass in your stateroom you will still be charged a service fee.
Q: I forgot to add my frequent flyer number can you do that for me?
A: Unfortunately, we are unable to add it to your reservation but you can still add it once getting to the airport. Simply ask an airline agent and they will be happy to do it for you.
